Construido en 1730 y declarado Monumento Nacional, el edificio sufri\u00f3 graves da\u00f1os producto del reciente temporal de viento y lluvia que azot\u00f3 la zona, resultando en el desprendimiento de las planchas de zinc que resguardaban su estructura.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>El Alcalde de Curepto, Fernando Alc\u00e1ntara, quien realiz\u00f3 una inspecci\u00f3n en terreno desde la Plaza de Armas, advirti\u00f3 sobre la vulnerabilidad actual del inmueble. Seg\u00fan se\u00f1al\u00f3, la falta de protecci\u00f3n ha dejado expuestos los elementos constructivos originales, fomentando el deterioro.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>\u00abHoy d\u00eda expuesto al viento, a la lluvia, todas sus maderas, sus a\u00f1osos adobes, est\u00e1n absorbiendo agua y representan el principal factor de riesgo de la comuna\u00bb, afirm\u00f3 el edil.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Ante este escenario, la m\u00e1xima autoridad comunal hizo un en\u00e9rgico llamado a las autoridades competentes para iniciar a la brevedad los trabajos de reconstrucci\u00f3n y la evaluaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica de los da\u00f1os.
